KIAC has a Secretariat that oversees the Day to day Management of the Centre, led by the Board of Directors Member and Secretary General appointed by the Board, Victor MUGABE with a support team of six people. KIAC’s Secretariat takes pride in being highly responsive and attentive to the needs of its users.
Victor MUGABE joined the Rwanda Bar Association in 2012 as the Institutional Executive Director. Prior to that period Victor worked for the Ministry of Justice as the Assistant Coordinator (2007-2010) and the acting Coordinator of the Justice Sector Secretariat (2010-2012)
He has significantly contributed to the continued development of strategic transformation of the Rwanda’s Justice Sector which started in 2003.
During his stay at the Rwanda Bar Association for a period that exceeds eight years, he immensely contributed to the institutional growing dynamism through the development and implementation of strategic programs intended to position the legal practice at internationally accepted standards of the legal profession.
Victor is a lawyer with rich and long experience in legal and justice related projects management.
Case Manager and Capacity building Specialist of KIAC
Francoise Ingabire is currently the Case Manager and Capacity building Specialist of KIAC. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the National university of Rwanda. She holds a diploma in Conflict and Peacebuilding from the School of International Trainings from Vermont, USA. She is a certified Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of African Young arbitration (AYA). Before joining KIAC she provided Legal Aid and advisory services at HAGURUKA and the High court of Rwanda as a volunteer. She is a certified Mediator with a certificate from the University of Cape town.
COMMUNICATION AND MARKETING SPECIALIST
MUTUYIMANA Olivier Maurice
MUTUYIMANA Olivier Maurice the Communication and Marketing Specialist at Kigali International Arbitration Centre (KIAC),
Maurice holds a bachelors degree in Journalism and Communication obtained at the National University of Rwanda with more than 8 years of Experience in Public Relations, Communication, translation and Marketing sector, working for both Public and Private notable institutions local and International namely, Outreach Development Solution and the Southern Province.
Diogène RUGWIZANGOGA is the Accountant for Kigali International Arbitration Centre (KIAC) . He is a holder of Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Economics (BBMECO) with Distinction, from Kigali Independent University (ULK) and holds a number of certificates of professional trainings in the field of business management, Organization Resources strategic planning and Management, Financial analysis, project management.
He is the Chairman of Taxaudaccoma Business Group Ltd, a consulting company in accounting, auditing, tax advisory & business management services. He is also a member of Economic Policy Research Network Rwanda (EPRN) where he participates in many economic dialogues and conferences.
He holds the following Certificates of professional training: taxation system and procedure laws of taxation in Rwanda, Accounting Software Sage Saari, Project management, Project planning-monitoring-evaluation and reporting, Consultancy management, Advanced Excel of Statistical Data, Strategic Human resource management, Proposal writing skills, Leadership, Professional English, advanced computer skills. He has served 16 years in accounting, finance, internal & external audit and resources management to various consulting businesses including 7 years of service to an international Non Governmental Organization (NGO).
Diogène RUGWIZANGOGA is and has been the certified tax advisor and Business management consultant since January 2012.
In charge of Logistics and driver
Utamuzi Hippolyte, a (A1) Diploma Holder in Administration and Business Management (Administration et Gestion des Affaires) has got more than14 year-experience in the fields of Logistics, Driving, Freelancer in Transportation, Projects Assistant and Supervisor in various Local and International Non-Government Organizations such as, MINURCAT, RWAMREC and currently in charge of Logistics and driver at Kigali International Arbitration Center with driving categories B&D.
Hippolyte has also been facilitating various trainings on GBV Prevention, Promotion of Gender equality through reconstruction of a non-violent identity of men and mentoring in initiation of small business generating income to various groups of people namely, young couples, students and ex-combatant repatriated from the DRC forests.
Hippolyte holds various diplomas and certificates in line with KIAC mission, which makes him a very important and vital employee at KIAC as the in charge of logistics and Driver.
